Modern wedding aesthetics

Dion and Annabelle’s modern wedding was nestled in the tropical garden of a private property in Darwin’s northern suburbs. The couple’s love for nature and their desire for a romantic outdoor celebration inspired the theme of their special day. The result was a magical and unforgettable event that captured the essence of their love and commitment to each other. The florals and styling of the 13-meter table were the centrepiece of the celebration, adorned with stunning floral arrangements by Beija Flor featuring delicate blooms and complemented by elegant styling elements, such as custom-made beeswax candles, travertine tiles and linen napkins. The overall effect was a breathtakingly beautiful setting that transported guests to a magical world of romance and beauty. 

Ceremony details

The ceremony was a contrast of white chairs against a tropical garden background, including aisle markers of more delicate blooms. The bride looked stunning in her modern contemporary custom-made Mariana Hardwick wedding dress. Annabelle looked sophisticated, complete with an unstructured bouquet of delicate Scabiosa blooms. The groom looked dapper in his stylish black and white tuxedo. The ceremony took place in the garden of Annabelle’s family home, surrounded by the property’s natural beauty. The couple exchanged vows in the lush tropical garden, adding to the day’s romantic and dreamy ambience.

Canopy of lights

Following the heartfelt ceremony, the custom bar served the couple’s favourite cocktails to their guests while roving canapés kept the celebrations going. While the couple and their wedding party were off taking photos, a solo vocalist entertained the guests amongst the property’s tropical gardens. The couple joined their guests to share a banquet feast on the winding table underneath a sky of twinkling fairy lights. Following dinner, Annabelle changed into a playful two-piece outfit and, together with Dion, danced the entire night away with their nearest and dearest.

The couple’s attention to detail was evident throughout the wedding, from the beautiful florals to the elegant styling elements. The result was a celebration truly reflected the couple and their personality. The wedding reflected the couple’s love for each other markedly their desire to share it with their family and friends. Lastly, Annabelle and Dion’s modern garden wedding was an unforgettable event especially for their closest loved ones. The modern styling elements coupled with a stunning backdrop created a breathtakingly romantic atmosphere for guests. It was a day that the couple and their guests will cherish forever.
